Meet Lao Wang, a valued member of the Shanghai Tattoo family, now tattooing with us in Sacramento, California.

He has been part of the Shanghai Tattoo family since 2018 in Shanghai, China, and has been tattooing professionally since 2013. Wang works across multiple styles, with a primary focus on black & grey and color photorealism, fine line, and custom lettering.

His work reflects a balance of traditional Asian symbolism and contemporary Western influence, executed with precision, restraint, and long-term wear in mind. Wang approaches each tattoo with intention, continually refining his craft and evolving his artistic voice.
